Harvesting in net cultivation
The beauty of net cultivation is that it's suitable for both heavy and lighter soils. Van Dun contracting can harvest in two ways: with a discharge elevator or directly into crates. Floor coverings
Flower bulb growers often choose to cover planted bulbs with a straw mulch. Loonbedrijf van Dun B.V. can take care of this for you. Straw mulching can prevent soil compaction during the growing season of the flower bulbs. We can also apply a straw mulch to crops that are still in the ground. The straw mulch provides them with protection against frost during the winter months. Just like with planting and harvesting, we provide straw mulching at 1.50 and 1.80 metre track widths. We can supply different types of straw.
Traditional flower bulb cultivation
In addition to net cultivation, we can grow flower bulbs using traditional methods. For harvesting tulip, gladiolus, and lily flower bulbs, Loonbedrijf van Dun deploys various self-propelled harvesting machines. They can operate at widths of 1.50, 1.80, and 3.00 metres. All these harvesting machines can be equipped with harvesting and sieving mats of your choice. Roller cleaners are also available.
