Seen from above, Northeast Polder is one big colourful palette during the tulip bloom. Plots of flowering tulips, fresh green fields and orchards alternate. Beautiful to cycle through or drive along. Like every year, we have mapped out several tulip routes for you. Just follow the Tulip Festival signs, because the route is different every year. After all, the tulips bloom in different places every year.

Stay safe and respectful on the road

During the Tulip Festival, it will be busier than usual on and along the roads. We want everyone to enjoy the tulips safely and ensure the polder remains accessible for residents and agricultural traffic.

Therefore, we ask visitors:

  • Park only in safe and permitted areas

  • Keep roads, exits and cycle paths clear

  • Pay close attention when crossing the road

  • Be aware of agricultural traffic

  • Respect local residents and business owners
