Alongside the colourful tulip fields, there is much more to discover along the way. You drive or cycle through a special part of Flevoland: land that was reclaimed from the former Zuiderzee and laid out by pioneers as a modern agricultural area.

In the free Tulip Festival app, you can follow the car and cycle routes and listen along the way to stories about the creation of the polder, Flevoland agriculture, tulip cultivation, sustainability and the craftsmanship of local growers.

The audio tour is available in Dutch, German and English. This way, you not only experience the tulips, but you also discover The Story of Flevoland behind the fields.
