Tulip festival Noordoostpolder

Poldertoren opens with an evening performance during the start of the Tulip Festival

The Poldertoren in Emmeloord will be reopened to the public on Friday 17 April. After a renovation period, the tower will be open for visits during the day. In the evening, the tower will provide the backdrop for an open-air performance marking the reopening.

Evening performance around the tower

The evening performance will take place from 9:00 PM to approximately 9:40 PM and is freely accessible to the public. A combination of light, projection, and movement will be used around the tower, with performers moving along its structure. The performance is part of the official opening ceremony.

Tulip Festival Noordoostpolder Begins

The reopening coincides with the start of the Tulip Festival North East Polder. As part of this collaboration, images from the tulip season in the North East Polder have also been supplied, which will form part of the visual presentation during the evening performance.

With the reopening of the Poldertoren and the evening programme, the start of the season will have a joint and visible moment in the centre of Emmeloord.
