Tulip photo exhibition in the heart of the Noordoostpolder.<\/strong><\/p>\n

During the Tulip Festival this year, tulip art in the form of photography can be seen for the first time in various shop windows in the centre of Emmeloord. The photos were taken by Tulip photographer Alice Valk<\/a>. Alice lives among the tulips on a bulb farm. Her love for the tulip was already there and grew further when she started living with a tulip grower.<\/p>\n

In her work, she shows the tulip in its various forms: from realistic to abstract. Her images capture moments of bloom and stillness, showcasing the richness of the tulip in colour and form. With a particular fondness for the broken tulip, whose flame-like petals are a constant source of surprise.<\/p>\n

The photographs invite passers-by to pause, observe, and experience what seems so self-evident during the festival: the beauty of the tulip in all its stages, from bud to full bloom.
\nAt each shop window, next to the artwork, you'll find a small card with a question, inviting you to do something taking a long pause and consciously experiencing the tulip work<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
