In December, the company will reopen its doors to visitors, this time during the Verlichte Boerderijenroute Noordoostpolder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While colorful tulips are the focus in spring, visitors this winter will have the opportunity to take a peek behind the scenes at the tulip cultivation farm. A wonderful chance to experience this familiar location in a completely different way!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Discover the Noordoostpolder in a different light<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Illuminated Farm Route takes place every two years and literally puts the rural area of the Noordoostpolder into the spotlight. During the approximately 40-kilometer-long drive, visitors travel past about one hundred beautifully illuminated farms, workers\u2019 houses, waterworks, and other special locations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An accompanying audio tour tells more about the history of the polder, the agricultural businesses and the developments in the area along the way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Illuminated Farm Route takes place on&nbsp;<strong>11, 12, 13, 17, 18, 19 and 20 December 2026<\/strong>, Every day from 16:30 to 22:00.
