The track width is 1.50 metres and planting is done in 5 rows. There are consequently 5 planting feet underneath that \u201ccut\u201d through the ground and can plant the bulbs at the desired depth. There is a difference in the distribution per row, with more bulbs going into the outer rows than the middle rows. The number of pieces per metre of bed is monitored using a counting machine. This, along with the depth, is regularly checked. Depending on the size of the bulb, a planting depth of approximately 10 cm above the bulb is maintained. If necessary, rye is sown over the planted bed.
